NEW RESOURCES!
The Office of Assessment is pleased to introduce a new collection of resources designed to support faculty and staff throughout the assessment planning and review process. These resources provide clear guidance, practical tools, and examples to help academic and nonacademic units develop strong assessment plans and better understand expectations for high-quality assessment.
The new resources include step-by-step instructions for assessment plans, assessment plan templates, example assessment plans with completed Meta-Assessment Rubrics, and guidance for conducting meta-assessment. We also added new videos to the Office of Assessment’s YouTube channel with additional guidance on assessment processes and practices. Together, these resources offer multiple ways to access the information and support needed to make assessment more accessible, consistent, and useful for continuous improvement. Look for items marked “NEW!” on our Resources webpage to quickly identify the latest additions.
Blackboard Planning - New name, same platform
Anthology Planning has officially been renamed Blackboard Planning. While the name has changed, the platform's functionality remains exactly the same. No changes affect the features, processes, or assessment plans currently in the system. Read the press release .
SENATE BILL 17 - REMINDER
When determining and entering assessment elements, users should keep in mind that the words 'diverse,' 'inclusion,' and 'equity' in and of themselves do not create a compliance issue; however, the context of programs, services, training, etc. should be evaluated for compliance. Users can consult the document available at for guidance on what is prohibited or permissible.
