Purpose. Reviews material received from the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs pertaining to the nomination of a faculty member for the designation of Distinguished Professor.

Member Appointments. The Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs makes all appointments.  The members serve three-year terms expiring at the end of the fiscal year.

Chair Appointment. The Chair is nominated by the Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs from the list of committee members.
